True Grit: Movie Review

This is easily one of my favorite movies of the year. Superb acting and actors, action-packed, and all-around a well-made film. What else is there to say? Jeff Bridges is awesome? The only thing that bugged me was I didn't like the actor who played the girl. Chloe Grace Moretz would have done better in my opinion. (That's just me) B+

Little Fockers; Movie Review

It did what a third movie is supposed to do. Without sucking that badly.
It's expected for third movie to do bad on its own. It's like, a movie trilogy's destiny. That some movies didn't have to follow. Toy Story didn't, Lord of the Rings didn't, Austin Powers... kinda didn't. So, is Little Fockers one of them? Or will it be thrown in the clearance bin along with The Ring 2? We'll find out. Meet the Parents was incredible. It had a cliche storyline and made it it's own, and proved to be hilarious. Then Meet the Fockers came and... it was fine. Just fine. And now here comes Little Fockers. It seems like they think that slicing a finger a finger open and letting it spray all over the family as "cute". Or maybe they think that the movie making comedy strategy, "It's not what it looks like." is an original story-telling technique. Even after all those things this movie still proves to be fun. Half of the jokes may be really stupid, but it made me laugh harder than any movie I'd seen this year. And that's saying something. I still think they could have survived without all the dirty jokes in the movie, because for me it went totally overboard. Overall, this is a FUN movie. It's not cute, or very smart for that matter, but it makes you laugh. HARD. B-
