Review: The Book of Eli

The Book of Eli is an interesting film. Not many people were anticipating this film, (including me) but it stands out far more than what was expected of it. The Book of Eli takes place after the "big flash" an event that supposedly made most life become extinct. Although some people survived, books (including bibles) were not so lucky. The one man who has a bible is named Eli, knowing many other people are after it. Some want to destroy it, and some want to share it with people, but in a bad way. This movie has great performances by Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman, and has great action scenes. If you are looking for an action movie with great acting and an outstanding plot, The Book of Eli is for you. B-

  1. I liked it too, Caleb. I thought the visual effects throughout the film were VERY interesting. And, of course, the messages about the importance of the Bible were awesome!
