A message to all 6th generation nano haters

I have a word or two for all the people that don't like the new Nano. A complaint you may have is that since it's a touch screen, you must look at it constantly. Well, that's not true. If you are jogging or doing something active, just shake the iPod and then it shuffles the songs and will play them automatically. Another complaint you may have is that it lost video recording and video playback. This iPod is strictly a music player. (With a few other cool things)Video recording had little or no use in the last model. Considering it had very bad quality and took up lots of space. And video playback, (music videos, movies, t.v. shows, etc.) also did not have much use either. I couldn't stand the thought of staring at a screen that small for more than two minutes. Another thing you may complain about is the fact it is expensive. The older model is available for just $130, when this one with the smaller screen, no camcorder, and no video playback is $150. The reason it is priced this high is thanks to the touchscreen. Without it, it might as well be sold for the price of an iPod shuffle. The touch screen sounds nice, though. Because of the fact it would be easier to find artists and songs. One of the most complained about motive is because the screen is small, making people with big fingers not be able to use this iPod easily. Look, if you have big fingers, this isn't for you. Get over it. Buy the older model. This also means that only a few items can be displayed at a time. Isn't that why we have the multi-touchscreen? The one where if you flick it, it scrolls down? If you have average sized fingers, (or a kid) and you aren't planning on making 15 second videos, or staring at a screen a long time, this iPod would be GREAT for you. If you want to read about all the other fun things the iPod can do, read my other post about the Nano.

  1. Wow. I never knew that the newest iPod was like this. I only knew that it had a touch screen.
But I don't like the touch screen idea for the nano because then what's next? What will apple come up with for the next iPod nano generation? An iPod that reads your mind or something? The touch screen is just a waste. I think that the touch screen shouldn't be manufactured in so many things yet because then everyone would get it, overuse it, and get tired of it fast. Then what will apple do?
I don't like how it is but we're a very impatient generation and we always want to be updated with the world as much as we can, from technology to fashion. Things that we don't necessarily need in our lives.
